Kia Rio Trim Panels
Q. Hi! I have a 2001 Kia Rio 5 door hatchback, European. The problem is that my interior pillar trim has crack on the passenger side. How can I remove this trim?Greetings,
JanosA. The A pillar trim panel just pops off. There is a special trim panel tool you can get at most parts stores to make it easier. It is not required, but it does make removing it easier.
To get the B pillar lower trim panel off, you first need to remove the seat belt anchor bolt and the front and rear door scuff plates. Then the B pillar lower trim panel will pop off.
To get the B pillar upper trim panel off, you first need to remove the lower trim panel. Then remove the upper seat belt anchor bolt and pop off the B pillar upper trim panel.
To get the C pillar trim panel off, you first need to remove the rear seat cushion and seat back, package trim and the tire house trim. Then you will be able to pop off the C pillar trim panel.
