Jeep CJ7 Needs An Emissions Diagram
Q. Another Jeep owner in need of "vacuum system" and "emission system" diagram and any related diagrams available. I have a manual, but the diagrams in the book are not clear or readable! 1983 Jeep CJ7 4.2 liter, California emission system, standard transmission, carburetor and no cruise control.

The problem is that most sensors and/or solenoids are not easily identified by the novice backyard mechanic, and knowing what each device does is sometimes a mystery. I have 2 canisters, one on the inside engine compartment on the fender wells of both sides and I cannot seem to find diagrams showing both!!!???

Can you save me? I, too, have acquired a Jeep that has been setting for a few years and lines are off, missing or are not in their proper locations.
