Rebuilding A Junk Yard Dog Q. Hi, my name is Maarij. I want to rebuild a car. I want to buy a car from the junkyard. I will have a body. And then from there I would like to rebuild the engine, make it functional, and then put finishing touches to it. The problem is I need information of how I could do that. I need information on how to rebuild the engine and all sorts of guides to help me reach my goal.

Please give me information on how I can do that. So that hopefully as soon as possible I could start the project I have made for myself.

A. That is a rather broad question. A lot depends on the year, make and model of car you plan on rebuilding. Also, in most states a car purchased from a junk yard will have a junk title making it difficult for you to ever sell it.

The best lace to get information is at your local public library. There are any number of books on every aspect of what you want to do. Then there is the internet. There are many car clubs and groups that are more than willing to help someone with a project such as yours.
