Can't Fill Kia Sephia Gas Tank
Q. Hello, When I try to put fuel in my 1998 Kia Sephia, the pump tops off and the gas shoots out. I'm only able to pump a few cents at a time making it impossible for me to pump more than $5.00 worth of gas. Can you tell me what could be making it think it is full and what would cause the gas to shoot out?

KrishanaA. The reason this is happening is due to a defective ORVR (On-board Refueling Vapor Recovery) valve. There was a recall on these and if you take it to your Kia Dealer they should replace it for you free of charge.
