Ford Explorer Big Coolant Leak

Q. I have 1992 Ford Explorer, automatic transmission with a lot of miles. Odometer broke. My problem is that one day out of the blue my engine overheated, I was driving and temp gauge went hot with smoke coming from hood, I fill radiator and coolant, but as soon as this was filled a leak occurred.

It wasn't from radiator but maybe from fuel pump, however its not a squirting type of leak it is a constant stream of water coming from below belt, so any time I fill the radiator it leaks.

A. It sounds to me like the water pump went bad. If you use a mirror and look underneath the water pump at the vent (weep) hole, it should be pretty easy to confirm.
