BMW 528i Brake Master Cylinder Q. Good Morning, I have a 1997 BMW 528i and on my way to work the "Brake" light came on, my question is where do I check the fluid level. I'm lost as to where the brake master cylinder is to check this. I cannot find my owners manual and no pictures online of the location. Thank you, Chandra

A. The brake master cylinder is under the hood, attached to the power brake booster under the windshield wipers. It's under the air filter housing so you'll have to dig a bit for it.
