Toyota Camry Crankshaft Repair Kit? Q. Hello, I have a 1993 Toyota Camry with 290,000 miles on it and the crankshaft gear, located behind the pulley, is sloppy due to wear on the end of the crankshaft. Do you know of any type of crankshaft repair kit or fix for this besides overhauling the engine? I've considered carefully placing some JB Weld on the crank gear and letting it dry for a couple of days, in hopes of stopping the vibration noise that is driving me and all around me nuts. A. I don't know of any "kit" or other way to fix it except to replace the crankshaft. Sorry...
