Porsche 911 Carerra Wheel Alignment
Q. Hi Mr. Ciulla, I have a 2003 Porsche 911 Carerra. I recently got a flat on one rear left tire and ended up replacing all 4 tires. The tires are all exactly the same replacements (same model/brand/size). The place where I got the tires from did not do alignment. I've had no problems with the car and the car does not pull left or right.
They did suggest getting an alignment, but I wanted to know if it was necessary since it seems to not be pulling in either direction. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you...
AnnieA. I always recommend a wheel alignment when someone buys new tires. New tires can be a substantial investment and a wheel alignment is a good way to insure you get the most life out of them. Also rotating and checking the wheel balance every 7,500 miles is a very good idea too.
