Bypassing Nissan Pathfinder Alarm Q. Vincent, Did not know you has so much good stuff when I clicked on. You explained a repair for that Nissan Pathfinder, however is there any way to by pass the alarm altogether so you only need just a plain key to get in the thing. Mine is a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder 4X4, V-6 with factory installed alarm system. Any help truly appreciated. Thanks again, Anthony Clifton NJ

A. I guess there is a way around almost anything, including the Nissan Pathfinder anti-theft alarm. However I have never tried it. There are a number of systems that interact with the security system and it would take a bit of doing to bypass all of them so it would just start with the key.
