Cold Cadillac Fleetwood Owner
Q. I have a 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood rear wheel drive, it has a corvette LT1 350 engine 50.000 miles with fuel injection. My question is the heater blows out cool to very little warm heat, it's not enough to defrost the windshield. I have changed the thermostat and still no heat. The upper heater hose going into the heater core is hot to touch but the lower heater hose coming out of the core is cool to touch.
There is 40° to 50° difference in temperature in the two hoses. Last winter I drove a very cold car.
Thank You,
DavidA. Based on the heater hose temperatures, there is only one answer; you have a blocked heater core.
