Chevy Chevette Scooter Dune Buggy
Q. Hi, My son is making a dune buggy from a 1984 Chevy Chevette Scooter. It has a 4 cylinder engine. The problem is he wants to remove all the wiring not needed, but keep the fuse box. He wants to have headlights, taillights, stereo, tachometer and gauges all run from toggle switches and a working ignition. What do we do and where to start?
Thank you...
A. You need to buy a book on basic wiring for cars. There are lots of them out there. You may even try the internet to see about companies that make custom harnesses for whatever you want. If you understand the basic principles of electricity, you should be able to figure it out.
