Jeep Wrangler Serpentine Belt
Q. Hello I am trying to replace the serpentine belt on my Jeep Wrangler, though unsuccessful. I cannot find the tensioner to release the belt. Please could you help me or give me a diagram to resolve my problem?

Thank you for your time,
SimonA. The belt tension is adjusted at the power steering pump or idler pulley if not equipped with power steering.
First you need to loosen the two rear mounting bolts.

Then loosen the pivot bolt and adjuster locknut. Turn the adjuster bolt out to loosen the belt enough to slip off.

This is the belt routing in case you need it.
