Toyota Supra Clutch Is Starting To Slip
Q. I have a 1987 Toyota Supra with a 3.0 litre engine and 5-speed manual transmission. My problem is when the car is cold the clutch seems to slip a little under hard acceleration, but once the car heats up, the clutch slips heavily under light or hard acceleration. Do I need to replace the clutch assembly or is it possible there is something else to try first?
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
TomA. That has a hydraulic clutch system and there is no adjustment. So when the clutch starts to slip, it's time to replace it.
