Oldsmobile 98 Has Dragging Brakes

Q. I have a 1991 Oldsmobile 98 with ABS. Mileage is about 90,000, Engine is 3.8 liter V-6 with fuel injection. I have replaced the brake booster, brake master cylinder twice, ABS Module twice, front calipers twice. The problem I am having is with the front brakes dragging. The brakes do not drag until the car has been driven about 10 miles and then parked for 20 to 30 minutes.

Oldsmobile 98 Has Dragging Brakes

This problem started after I replaced the front pads and drained/refilled the brake system with new fluid. I have bled the complete system after replacement of all items.

A. Well, it could be many things after all those parts were replaced or disturbed. First make sure the brake pedal is not binding, make sure the brake light switch isn't pushed in so far that the pedal is being depressed by it. The pin between the master cylinder and the booster is very important regarding it's length. If too long, it will apply master cylinder slightly. Also a bad brake hose can do this and at that mileage should be replaced as well.
