Toyota Pickup Will Not Start

Q. Hey, I have a 1986 Toyota Pickup with a 2.4 liter 22R engine. Manual transmission and stock everything. I have been working on it for a year and I have one final problem. I had it trying to turn over but got no spark so i replaced the ignition and coil but now she is just dead no signals nothing. I am charging the battery but it don't seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

Toyota Pickup Will Not Start

A. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. Is it not cranking? Is it cranking and not starting? Is it fuel injected or carbureted?

If it's not cranking I would check the starter circuit. If it's cranking then you need to check for spark and fuel pressure.
