Replacing A Ford Windstar Air Filter Q. How do you change the Air Filter on the 2003 Ford Windstar. Thanks, Tom

A. Piece O' Cake Tom. Here's how to do it.

REMOVAL:

1. Open the clamp.

2. Position the air cleaner housing outlet aside.

3. Remove the air cleaner element.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: The air cleaner outlet tube must be securely sealed to prevent un-metered air from entering the engine.

NOTE: The inlet air cleaner has an alignment tab which fits into a slot on the outlet air cleaner. Make sure the tab is aligned correctly.
