Nissan Hardbody Lost Its Dash Lights Q. 1995 Nissan D21 Hardbody 4WD 3.0 V-6, 5 speed manual transmission, A/C and 110,000 miles. Head lights, brake lights, turn signals, as well as stereo, heater A/C controls all work, but night running lamps and dash lights don't work. Both went out at the same time while driving.

All of the fuses are fine and all the bulbs check out fine too. And there appears to be no blown fusible links anywhere. At a lose here.Any help or advice on what it could be would be greatly appreciated.

A. With the lights on, check for power at the purple wire, pin 12, and the purple/white wire, pin 11, at the headlight switch. If you have power at the purple and not purple/white, you have a bad headlight switch. Not at all uncommon for a Nissan.
