Chevy S10 Has No 4 HIGH Q. Dear Vincent, I have a 2001 Chevy S10 Pickup 4.3 liter V6 automatic transmission, ABS, P/S, A/C, and 26,000 miles. My problem is it will not engage in 4 HIGH. It will engage in 4 LOW, but when I try to shift it into 4 HIGH it goes straight into 2WD. It is a push button electronic control. Help if you can. Thank you, Fritz

A. This should still be under factory warranty and a covered item. Could be a problem with the encoder motor, the switch or the transfer case itself. Lots of things. Big money items too! Call a dealer and see if it's covered.
