Saturn SL2 Broken Timing Chain Guides

Q. Vince, I have a big problem, and I would like your opinion on it. I have a 1994 Saturn SL2, DOHC, 1.9 liter engine, automatic transmission, P/S, P/B, A/C and ABS. The timing chain wore through the plastic guides and the car stopped running. I replaced everything under the timing cover, including the timing chain, cam gears, crank gear, guides and tensioner.

After, I finished, it won’t start. It just cranks as if there is no spark, and there is. What do you think? What do I do next?

Regards...

A. Check the compression! Chances are the intake valves are bent. I'm not 100% sure but it's probably not a free spinning engine.
