Chevy Blazer S-10 Extending Warranty

Q. Hello Vincent, I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer S-10 with approximately 90,000 miles on it. I recently received a note from GM regarding a problem they have detected related to "deposit build-up on the Sequential Central Port Fuel Injector poppet valves." They are extending warranty for those experiencing problems related to this issues.

Chevy Blazer S-10 Extending Warranty

I recently had to take my truck in because I was experiencing a very hard start. It seem like it was getting worse and worse. The Chevy dealer told me it was related to the Fuel Pressure Regulator. So my question to you is, is this problem related to the SCPI problem? Should this problem be covered under the extended warranty GM issued?

Thanks for the help,
Mark

A. Very possible. They will re-imburse you if it is the same thing that you already have had repaired.
