Warranties Outside Of The USA Q. I have heard that if a new car is bought in the US at a local dealer and that car is taken out of the country for extended periods of time, i.e. being stationed with the military in Germany that most warranties either become void for the time overseas or void all together. Is this true?

A. I'm not really qualified to answer this question. This is something you would have to ask the prospective warranty company. The factory warranty will be good world wide.
