Eagle Talon Crankshaft Pulley

Q. I have a 1995 Eagle Talon with a broken timing belt and have been trying to take the harmonic balance pulley off. It does not have any bolts so I attempted to take it off with a 2 jaw puller. I removed the center bolt, used a smaller diameter bolt to press against to no avail. Is there some special tool to remove it? This is the 2.0 engine.

Eagle Talon Crankshaft Pulley

A. As you can see in the diagram, there is nothing special about that pulley. It is just stuck on there really tight. I would recommend a 3 jaw, 5-ton puller to remove it. Other than that you are doing it right.
