Jeep Emissions Warranty Q. I understand that if a catalytic converter breaks and must be replaced it is at the dealerships expense to correct the problem. I spoke with two mechanics who told me that this falls under 60,000 miles or 6 years. Is this accurate information. Please advise as soon as possible or if possible please direct me to the appropriate person to speak with. My Jeep has 46,000 miles and was purchased in 1998. Thanks, Lisa

A. The catalytic converter is covered under the five year/50,000 mile emissions warranty. If there is a problem with the dealer, you can call Chrysler direct using the phone number in your owners manual.
