Wheel Alignment Questions Q. Customer hit a curb and has shimmy, Cord busted in left front tire. All tires are worn out due to normal wear and tear. Can a technician perform an alignment on this vehicle at one place and have the Customer get tires after the alignment is done?, Will this Customer be wasting her money aligning? Will the vehicle have to be realigned after the tires are replaced?

A. An alignment before the tires are replaced would be a total waste of time and money. The tires have to be in good shape and matched for an accurate wheel alignment to be done.
