Chevy Blazer ABS Light
Q. Vince, Recently my battery died in my 1994 Chevy Blazer, 4.3, 4x4, automatic. I was parked next to a Sears. I thought It was lucky, but I was wrong. They replaced my battery and I asked them to also replace the + battery cable, it was pitted. When I pulled out of the lot, the ABS dash board light came back on and stayed on.
I went back and they played with it for a while and gave up. Help!! What do you think that they did wrong?
Thanks,
EdA. There used to be a main ABS power feed plug near the battery, Maybe they unplugged it and forgot. Look down between the battery and the coolant reservoir. There should be two halves of a plug that plug together. Also could be a ground wire broken or missing a screw just below the same area down on the frame rail. I've seen both problems on cars that come out of body shops, very easy to overlook.
