Ford Mustang No Start Q. Mustang dies with no notice. Other times it may not start at all. It won't start if the "check engine" light comes on. It can sit 10 minutes and will restart. We have replaced the fuel filter, and electronic module. Only codes we can retrieve are "33", EGR. Any clue? A. The DTC's in your car are three digits. I have seven "33x" codes, all pertaining to the EGR system. Have you tried tapping on the EGR valve in case it is stuck?
