Dodge Avenger Valve Cover

Q. I have a 1995 Dodge Avenger 4 cylinder. I have recently noticed that it seems to be leaking oil around the plug wires on top of the cylinder head. And there is also oil on the plug wires when you pull them out. I need to know if it is the valve cover casket or the cylinder head gasket that needs to fixed, and if the oil on the plug wires is normal?

Thank you,
Monica

Dodge Avenger Valve Cover

A. Any oil leak is not normal Monica. The oil leak you have is most likely the valve cover gasket leaking. It is easy enough to replace and not too costly.
