Chevy C1500 Blown Lights

Q. Dear sir, I can't get the lights to work in my dash, parking lights, or in my tail lights even though all bulbs and fuses are good. Both dash lights and tail lights went out at the same time. Only the bulbs in the tail and front park lights were blown. All other lights are working fine. Any suggestions of where to start looking for the problem next?

A. Re-check for a blown tail light fuse. This would explain them both going out at the same time. Also check for a short in a trailer hitch wire harness or a trailer if you pull one.
