Buick Lesabre Has No Heat

Q. I have a 1997 Buick Lesabre 3.8 liter engine. The car is fully loaded. My question is, the heater only blows out cold air even when the temperature is set at 90°. What could cause this to happen?

Buick Lesabre Has No Heat

A. You may have a stuck open thermostat, cheapest. You may have a problem with the temperature mode selector or if it's auto HVAC, many possible problems. Also could be low on coolant, therefore no coolant in the heater core to get warm. Check coolant level first. Then get it scanned to see what the ECM is seeing for temperature. Then feel both heater hoses to see if they are cool, warm or hot.
