Toyota Tacoma Dash Lights Q. I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5; 4 cylinder, 5-speed, A/C, tilt, cruise, power locks and windows. Since I had it wired for trailer lights I no longer have any dash lights. Under daylight driving conditions the radio dial lights up, but as soon as I turn the lights on, the dial goes out and there are no dash lights.

I have the same problem with my 1988 GMC Sierra that was wired for trailer lights. All the fuses in the panels check out fine. Any ideas?

A. When they wired the trailer lights and you discovered the dash lights weren't working, why didn't you go back and say something. I would have.

Not know exactly what was done and how they wired it in, I really can't help you with this.
