Windstar Leaking Spark Plug?

Q. I have a 1996 Ford Windstar 103,000 miles, 3.8 liter engine. What would be the likely effects and results to the engine by driving 50,000 miles with a #1 cylinder misfire due to leaking spark plug?

Thanks,
John

Windstar Leaking Spark Plug?

A. With one cylinder missing, the engine would be a little out of balance which would cause undue wear on the internal engine parts. Outside of that I don't know.

Why didn't you just replace the spark plug?
