Resetting Frontier ABS Light

Q. Vincent, I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier V-6 and my airbag light is flashing. This started when installing a radio and power amp under the seat. The only thing disconnected were the plugs under the seat when they were removed. The connection to the Airbag turn off key was not disconnected. The battery was also disconnected.I could take it to Nissan and have them but before I do. Is there a way I can reset the system and clear the code.

Thank you for your time.
Rick

A. Here is how to clear the ABS codes from memory:

Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes:
To erase Diagnostic Trouble Codes from the control module memory, temporarily disconnect the ground wire from the check terminal (black wire) and then re-connect the check terminal to ground three times for a period of at least one second. The ABS warning lamp should remain ON while erasing the malfunction (trouble) codes, and should go out after the erase mode has been completed. After erasing the malfunction (trouble) codes, rerun the self-diagnostic mode to verify that the malfunction (trouble) codes no longer appear.
