Explorer Access Keypad
Q. We recently acquired a 1999 Ford Explorer 4.0 liter without the remote access keypad on the door. We want to deactivate the autolock. However the owners manual only gives instructions on how to do it with the remote access keypad.
Any ideas?
A. Wish I did. But as far as I know the only way do deactivate it is with the remote keypad. I would suggest swinging by a Ford Dealer and checking with them. They probably know more about it than I do.
