Remanufactured Carburetor
Q. Greeting: I put on a remanufactured carburetor. My problem is after my car have started in the morning after overnight, and I may go some where and the motor had warm up when I get back in the car about 10 to 15 minute I'm getting the a fast idle as if it is cold I have to set for minutes to idle it down after warm up again.
What is the problem? This is not normal. Normally this do not occurred after overnight start and the weather is warm and not winter.
A. It sounds like the automatic choke is set to tight and needs to be adjusted. Not knowing what kind of car or carburetor I can't really advise you on what to do. But if you read the adjustment instructions that came with the carburetor you should have no trouble adjusting the choke.
