Ranger Fluid Leak

Q. Three days ago I brought my 1995 Ford Ranger, 4.0 liter V-6 automatic to the car wash to use the pressure washer on the engine. I left the engine running while cleaning it. The next morning I noticed an oily almost clear fluid under my car, near the right front tire.

When driving to work, I accelerated up a hill and the front end started to have a low pitch vibration. I let off the gas for a split second the vibration stopped. It usually happens when I hit about 55 to 65, goes away after I hit about 70. When I slow down and start to accelerate up, the vibrations come up again. I haven't check the fluid levels but suspect the vibration may have something to do with the fluid I found under my car. Any Thoughts?

Thanks,
Tony

A. The two fluids I would check ASAP would be the power steering fluid and the brake fluid. If it were a brake fluid leak I think you would have noticed it long before now however.

It's most likely P/S fluid leaking out of the P/S high pressure hose at the pump. Ford uses a funky type hose fitting that will start leaking if you look at it funny.
