Chevy Impala Coolant Level Sensor Location

Q. My low cooling fuel light come on and stay on until that car get hot and them it goes out. I have enough fuel in it. I have a 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 liter. How many sensors are in the cooling system????

A. Huh? Cooling fuel?? I'm guessing you mean low coolant light. Sometimes if the jar gets low on coolant, an air pocket will develop on the sensor which could be in the plastic reservoir or the radiator tank. Sometimes you can tap lightly on the sensor to dislodge the air bubbles and the light will go out.

And be sure the coolant is filled to the top of the radiator and the coolant bottle is filled to the proper level.
