Extend Your Reach

Friday July 9, 2010

Once you have an adequately equipped tool box to work with, you'll start to notice tools that may not be useful every day but can sure help you get out of a tight spot. These are the tools that seasoned mechanics have on hand, and it's how they can make even the most frustrating job look easy. One such tool is an extended reach plier. These pliers give you a few extra inches of reach at a time when you might need a few extra inches. Extending your reach certainly qualifies as an advantage under the hood. Check out some extended reach pliers and many more useful tools in the tool section!

(1) Eric Anderson says:

I tell you what, you would not believe how many times I have had to work on something under the hood of my car and could not get to all the nuts or bolts I needed because there is just no space in the newer cars these days. And every time I would get frustrated and not do anything to the car for a few days but then I went down to the repair shop and asked them for some advice and most of the areas where just the regular tool and your hand will not fit and you have to get extensions and/or longer tools. That’s what I was told and I decided to get some extensions for my 3/8 ratchet and my 1/2 inch as well, and that alone did wonders for working under the hood since then.
