A Revolution in Cup Holders?

Monday June 21, 2010

There are so many cup holders out there I generally avoid even talking about them. The last time I wrote about a cup holder was the famous Universal Cup Holder and until now there's been no reason to go any further. Enter Kaz e Kup. The designer of this cup holder has thought of every drinking eventuality and put a solution into practice. It's a pretty impressive product to say the least. In fact, he is so inventive he couldn't limit the cupholder's abilities to cars -- he invented attachments for the cup holder so it can be used at work, the beach, probably in a rodeo -- without spilling your drink! I'll let you read the review to see how well it performed in the car. My colleagues and I were all impressed, and I think you will be, too.

As a side note, I was excited that this product was the result of one man, who had a great idea, and did everything it took to get it into production. No massive fund backing his research, no paycheck while he sorted out the details. This is the kind of thing I think we should all be supporting.

I do not simply see how this is going to help with the problem because if you have a large cup then it is going to sit towards the top and then it becomes top heavy and thus easier to fall and spill.
