You are spot on with the engine warm-up advice. Up here in the cold weather the more important problem is warming the car interior and in the very cold - such as 30C below letting the metal warm up. any comments or suggestions.
Note:I have a neighbor who remote starts her car from inside the house about 15 minutes before leaving. I guess it warms up the interior and the snow and ice on the windshield softens. If I leave my truck outside I put a cover over the windshield to stop snow, frost and ice build-up.
I’ve found AWDirect.com to be a great source for inexpensive repair tools and supplies. They also have some great light duty towing and tie-down straps at the best price I’ve seen.
My 2004 BMW X5 Auto. Trans. wont shift in cold weather……..what would you recommend? Thanks for any suggetion.DD
