Do NOT Poke The Bear

Wednesday July 9, 2008
This isn't entirely auto repair related, but it's close enough to share with you. Besides, it's hilarious, and probably hits home with a number of my fellow used car buying, fix-it-yourselfing types. If you're a fan of Craigslist you've probably seen the "best of" section that continues to grow. That's where we found this actual ad placed by an actual woman who refers to herself as "the bear" -- you'll see why she shouldn't be poked when you read it. There's getting your point across, and there's really getting your point across, and she takes really to new dimensions of reality. If you've ever sold a used car, or bought a cheap used car for that matter, you should take a second to read this ad, it'll have you laughing out loud for sure.

Wonderful! This lady must be a direct ancestor of mine. She is refreshingly honest and open. Our politicians should take note.

You gotta love the Bear!
