Time For Summer Maintenance!

Saturday April 14, 2007
Summer is finally here, or at least on the horizon. As I write this I'm watching a Nor'easter (that's northern talk for big snowstorm) move across the weather map toward New England. Nonetheless, the calendar tells me that summer is coming, and that means it's time to do a little summertime auto maintenance.

The more we take care of our cars when they aren't broken, the fewer repairs we'll be stuck with. With that in mind, you should schedule an Summer auto maintenance is mandatory for a healthy car. afternoon to summerize your car. It's as good a time as any for regular maintenance, and since we drive our cars so much more in the summer there's a higher likelihood of a skipped maintenance routine coming back to haunt us. The cost of maintaining a vehicle is minute compared to the repair costs that can result from, say driving full speed down a Nevada highway in 110-degree heat with no coolant in the radiator!

Automotive maintenance isn't just a right, it's a responsibility.

This is a good example of using superior synthetic engine and drive lubricant products. Synthetic lubricants protect engines and transmissions in a wider range of temperatures than common petroleum based oils.
The oil change interval with synthetic is also longer making the change from winter to spring and summer not as crucial although not necessarily redundant.
No coolant in the radiator is not complicated, just not smart. Sounds like a leak needs fixing.
