Cars of the Future?
Sunday March 4, 2007
If you're a car geek like me, or just a geek in general, you should check out FutureCar on The Discovery Channel. Each episode deals with a different aspect of the future of the automobile. They discuss all kinds of insane theories that are being explored by the most industrious engineers and scientists. There's a guy named Guy (he's French so he pronounces it "Gee") who has developed a car that runs on compressed air. He says the next step is to develop an on-board air compressor so you'll never need to refill the tanks. I think he's forgotten a few inarguable laws of physics and energy with that last jump out of reality, but he's actually built a number of cars that run on air, an interesting and potentially promising move away from fossil fuels. A little "air" from my dog's back bumper area and we could fuel a second trip to the moon.
FutureCar is a four-part series that originally aired in February, but look out for rebroadcasts of this excellent project.

I have your 2000 Honda Accord Glove Box removal guide but I need to know how to remove the Dashboard center lower cover. I have removed to right fuse box cover and the 2 screws there but don’t know how to remove the lower left side.
I saw the Discovery program that featured future cars and what caught my eye was the compressed air car working, eventual idea of a perpetual air on board system. I have money now for two of those one CAT cars costing 5,000 and under 300 per year to maintain…..We want to be the first owners in the US and get rid of gas all together.
