Oldsmobile Cutlass Is Killing Batteries

Q. Dear Vince, I have the following problem with my dream car, 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible 3.4 liter V-6. I have to charge the battery if I do not start the car for a day. If I start the car on day one, then do not drive it for day two , on day three the car is dead. I have to charge the battery for about 15 minutes and then it starts again.

Oldsmobile Cutlass Is Killing Batteries

Something is draining my battery. I have replaced the alternator and battery. How can I figure out what is draining the battery? I have an alarm system in the car and a radio.

Thanks for your help Vince!!
Sunil

A. If you mean that the alarm and radio are not factory. Then I would start by removing power from these first and see if the problem goes away. If so, you know that one of those is wired incorrectly. If not, you need to do a parasitic load test on the car which is pretty involved and should be done by someone who knows how to do this.
